There is NO cost to you! That’s right! It’s a misconception that hiring a travel agent will cost you more money for the service when in fact agents instead receive commissions from the bookings. For example, if you find a hotel online for $199/night, you would get that EXACT same rate through the agent but usually alongside some additional perks!
You have ONE contact for the planning and duration of your travel. Someone you have spoken and interacted with prior to your trip. Someone who knows the type of experience you are looking for. Someone who has all of your travel information at their fingertips in case anything needs to be changed or tweaked during your trip! It’s so nice to have one direct phone number to call in case you need anything!
They can be as hands on or hands off with your planning as you like! Sometimes part of the fun of traveling is in the planning - if that is the case for you then you can work closely with the agent to stay involved in the process.
