Holidays 2021 at Walt Disney World

It’s so exciting to once again have an announcement about holiday celebration in Walt Disney World after last year. There is no magic really quite like Disney Christmas Magic! We already have a few families that are booked to be at Walt Disney World during December and we are so excited for them to be able to join in the festivities!

WDW MAGIC KINGDOM: Starting Nov. 8, “Disney Very Merriest After Hours”, a new special-ticketed event will be available on select nights featuring “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks”. Tickets will go on sale next month, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Festivities include:

  • Character sightings

  • Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show

  • After-hours access to Magic Kingdom park and less time waiting in line for popular attractions

  • Holiday-themed attraction overlays and Cinderella Castle projections

  • Snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.

  • Holiday treats, ice cream, popcorn and bottled beverages—all included with the cost of admission

  • Themed food and beverages available for purchase

  • Holiday-themed Disney PhotoPass photo opportunities (photos available for purchase)

  • Special lighting, music and more!

Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM on select nights, from November 8 through December 21, 2021. Tickets will go on sale next month, so continue to check for updates. Event tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7:00 PM, giving you time to enjoy even more of your park favourites before the event begins. DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS: Minnie Mouse is also returning to host her festive meal at Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Santa joins the Hollywood Boulevard Parade, and Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard will turn into a magical corner of Arendelle with projection effects.

ANIMAL KINGDOM: Seasonal décor and festive Disney character flotillas sailing down Discovery River to the sounds of joyful songs of the season

EPCOT: EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will return this year, from Nov. 26 – Dec. 30, with Holiday Kitchens around the park, performances by Voices of Liberty, the guest favorite Cookie Stroll and more!

DISNEY SPRINGS: Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, with elaborately decorated, Disney-themed trees and a magical snowfall will add a touch of wonder for holiday shoppers in Town Centre.

DISNEYLAND : Celebrate 20 Years of Haunted Mansion Holiday where they give the Haunted Mansion a merry makeover and turn it into a gingerbread house! Inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” celebrates the collision of Halloween and Christmas.
